Cancellation Policy of
Venture Desert Camp
Review our cancellation and refund terms for accommodation, packages and services before confirming, changing or cancelling your booking.
Plans can change, so we aim to keep our cancellation terms clear and easy to understand. This policy explains the charges that may apply, how eligible refunds are handled, and what happens in case of a no-show, early departure or bookings made through third-party travel platforms.
PAYMENTS
Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, payment for accommodation and other services may be made as per the terms communicated by Venture Desert Camp. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless specifically mentioned otherwise.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform us in writing. Cancellation charges will be calculated from the date on which Venture Desert Camp receives the cancellation request.
- Cancellation 15 days or more before arrival: 25% of the room cost
- Cancellation 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the room cost
- Cancellation within 3 days of arrival or no-show: 100% of the room cost
Bookings made for peak dates, festive periods, special events or high-demand travel dates may be subject to a separate cancellation policy. The applicable terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
REFUNDS
Where a refund is applicable, it will be processed after adjusting the relevant cancellation charges and any non-recoverable amounts already paid to third-party service providers.
If a guest chooses to shorten the stay or cancel services after the booking has commenced, refunds for unused accommodation, meals, activities, transfers or other services may not always be possible.
Approved refunds will be processed after the required payment or bank details are received. Processing time may vary depending on the payment method, bank or booking platform used.
THIRD-PARTY BOOKINGS
Bookings made through online travel agencies, travel agents or other third-party platforms will be governed by the cancellation and refund terms displayed on that platform at the time of booking.
Any refund for such bookings may need to be processed directly through the platform or agent through which the reservation was made.
CHANGES DUE TO WEATHER OR OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS
Desert activities, outdoor dining, safaris and other experiences may occasionally be affected by weather, safety considerations or operational conditions.
If an activity cannot operate as planned, our team will make reasonable efforts to offer an alternative timing, experience or arrangement, subject to availability and the terms applicable to the booking.
NO-SHOWS
A guest who does not arrive on the confirmed check-in date without prior written cancellation will be treated as a no-show, and the full booking amount may be charged.
EARLY DEPARTURE
In case of early departure after check-in, charges for the unused portion of the stay or package may be non-refundable, particularly where accommodation, meals, activities or third-party services have already been reserved.
LAW & JURISDICTION
Any dispute, claim or legal proceeding arising in connection with a booking or service provided by Venture Desert Camp shall be governed by the laws applicable in India and, subject to applicable law, shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
